Season 9 of the IV Global Photo Competition

The ninth season of our photo competition has started so here are some FAQs to help answer your questions…

When does the entry period run?

The competition will run from 15th June until 26th July 2015, giving you 6 whole weeks to get your entries in! If you enter after 26th July, your photo will not be entered into this season of the photo competition, but your entry may be entered into the next season automatically.

What qualifies as a good entry for the photo competition?

This season we are widening the entry qualifications! We recently rebranded to IV Global to reflect our expansion into other areas of recruitment, so it is only fitting to expand the range of photos that would qualify.

A good entry to the photo competition would be any high resolution image showing a view into the oil & gas, offshore, construction, marine or renewable energy industries.

Any photo that you submit must have been taken yourself, we will not accept any entries that have been taken from another source.

How do I submit my image?

Simply email photos@ivglobal.com with your submission attached. Alternatively you can upload it onto Twitter, Instagram and the IV Global Facebook page.

For this you can use the hashtag #ivseason9, but if you are submitting on social media, please ensure that you also email us a high resolution version of your image to photos@ivglobal.com for the chance to win the competition.

How many images can I submit?

As many as you like!

How will I know if I’m a finalist?

On the week beginning 3rd August, we will be announcing the first round of finalists on the IV Global Facebook page.

What is the prize for Season 9?

The winner of the competition will receive the newly-released high spec Olympus TG-4 Tough Digital Camera which is waterproof to 15m, shockproof to 2.1m, crushproof to 100kg & freezeproof to -10°C! You can read more about the camera here: http://bit.ly/olympus_TG4

The original image is too large – is there any other way I can enter?

You can upload a lower quality version onto Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #ivseason9 or share it with us on the IV Offshore Facebook page. It will still count as an entry; however don’t forget to send a higher resolution version to photos@ivglobal.com in order to qualify for 1st place.

We look forward to seeing your entries!
